Howard Katz, D.D.S. is considered internationally as one of the foremost experts and the authority on the dentofacial use of Botulinum toxins and injectible fillers. Dr Katz created many of the original patented protocols that have been acquired by Allergan Inc.for the use of botulinum toxins in the dentofacial realm.

Dr Katz has also revised the protocol for the use of fillers that take dentofacial esthetics into consideration. www.lipfillers.com His articles have been published internationally in peer reviewed journals. He is an accredited lecturer internationally having lectured in USA, Canada, Spain, Israel and South Africa to physicians and dentists. Dr Katz is the only dentist who has been invited by the large pharmaceutical companies to train non-dentists in the art of lip design using injectible fillers.

The American Academy of General Dentistry regards Dr Katz as an accredited lecturer on the use of botulinum toxins and fillers. All attending healthcare professionals receive continued education units (CE's or CME's) for attending his dynamic programs.

Dr Katz has been in private practice since 1979 and is familiar with the problems encountered using these materials in private dental practice. Although he has lectured on behalf of many of the pharmaceutical companies around the world he has resisted joining with any one company on a full time basis. This enables him to lecture and teach without bias to any one product, manufacturer or technique protocols.

Dr Katz has a full time dentofacial spa practice in Four S Ranch, San Diego, California where he treats private patients. The facility is also used as a Center of Excellence for training healthcare professionals from around the world.
